A series of events that are collectively referred to as “Aki no Kumamoto Oshiro Matsuri” (Kumamoto Castle Autumn Festival) begins on the 1st of September and continues through October 31st. I don’t have time to translate the information on this page but Google Translate or some similar service might help give you an idea of what’s coming up if you don’t read Japanese.
