The probability that Kumamoto will experience tropical winds has increased. I’m showing a projection for the next 36 hours but I think we can expect to begin to feel the effects of the storm as early as tonight (Monday) or early Tuesday. “Prepare to evacuate” notices have been issued in Amakusa, Minamata, Tsunagi, and Asagiri.
