Hi, Joe Tomei here. There was a message asking if Mt Aso had reopened, and it has been from Nov last year. Realtime info is here http://www.aso.ne.jp/~volcano/eng/

However, the ropeway is still not open http://www.kyusanko.co.jp/aso/lang_en/
