A note from the Kumamoto International Meteorology Desk: That our ancestors could somehow predict heavy rain without satellites is quite amazing - perhaps it’s the oppressive humidity with an ominous south-eastern wind. Which is what we have now. My wife keeps her ear close to the ground through the other cronies in the neighborhood, who are annoyingly polite but know more than you’d suspect, and word has it that big rain is coming from tomorrow afternoon for the next week.
