Congratulations to Kumamoto’s own Miyabi Onitsuka! Not only is she a great snowboarder, but she’s become great despite her location here in Kumamoto, which is not exactly a snowboarding mecca. I once saw a TV show that described how she has basically lived out of her car for extended periods of time in order to be in locations where she could practice.
