Hi lots of ALT friends in Kumamoto. My friend, my elementary school’s ALT seems same situation also. You might spend not interesting days, lots stressful days, Sorry. We, Japanese teachers are in the confusion days still now, too. Please enjoy your Japanese life relaxing even if you can’t go out, you can’t go to work.
