Joe Tomei here. Not Kumamoto content, but a faintly Kumamoto related post. The NanKyu JALT chapter invited Tomomi Kumai, a crosscultural trainer, to speak at our conference. Her site is here https://www.tomomikumai.com/

Tomomi will be speaking at the KoTESOL National conference (https://kotesolconf.com/), (starting in 45 minutes!! Take a look!!) which is online because of CoVID-19 and free to attend.

But I wanted to bring up something else, which is that one of Tomomi’s sons passed away from cancer and I was always impressed and awed by the way she was always positive and upbeat and able to turn the most difficult adversities into opportunities for growth and given that everyone is suffering from challenges now, you may want to take a look at Tomomi’s YouTube channel where she talks about how she has taken the challenges she has faced and turned them into positives.

The YouTube channel is here, and if you are feeling overwhelmed, it may be useful. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcLasI6BWNAEup-6kr61mgw
