I’d read long ago how some animals in the midst of evolutionary arms race evolve themselves into extinction by adding unaffordable flairs or just getting too big. A visit to the Kumamon corner at a Kumamoto Station shop reminded me of that. Someday, this madness has gotta stop. - William
