Today, as the rain falls heavily over Kumamoto, I thought about this older video of mine. Forget yesterday’s warm sunny day and the picnic under the cherry blossom - go out in the rain and think about the reason why the cherry blossom was adopted as the flower of the samurai! To only see cherry bl;ossom in the sunshine is just part of its story. Watching it in heavy rain is also a memorable experience. Regards Douglas
