Liz here, next time you are downtown , please admire the impressive artwork of Antonin Raymond , a Czech-American architect, which graces the facade of the Taigeki Kaikan at the entrance of Shimotori. There was an article in the Kumanichi in June (I think that is correct) https://nordot.app/781444286556160000 regardiing the renovation of this work of art. There are others more qualified than I am to translate it, but the art is amazing even without the historical background.
