Fiona here with some information about a volunteering opportunity in Kumamoto city. A soup kitchen recently opened in Gran Paletta (the United Cinemas building) offering free meals to children as well as 300 yen meals for adults. It is currently operating twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays from 5-7pm, and is looking for both volunteers and people willing to donate to its crowdfunding campaign.
