William This has nothing to do with Kumamoto, but it does regard foreigners living here. My home town of Costa Mesa consists primarily of immigrants from South America and Southeast Asia, and they are integrated (mostly - the Trumpists hate them). I’ve lived in Kumamoto longer than most people have been alive, but I am and will forever remain a “gaijin.” That’s life. Get used to it - and laugh if you can.
