What’s YOKA? Here’s the explanation about the publication on the Kumamoto JET website:
“The YOKA is an English-language newsletter published by the International Affairs Division with the help of current and former Kumamoto JETs.”

You can also find links to many previous issues of YOKA on this site. My understanding is that the publication is largely by and for current and former JETs but I think that many of the articles should also be of interest to non-JET expatriate residents of Kumamoto.
