Kirk here. There was newspaper coverage of this demonstration (which occurred on the 9th, 1200 people) against the placement of long-range missiles in Kengun. However, only KKT provided a video report; all other TV stations ignored it.
I was oblivious to this major political uprising until I saw a report about it today on TBS’s Hodo Tokushu, a national program. Sometimes it’s necessary to watch national TV programs to find out what the local broadcasters don’t want to cover. :(
