Kirk here. I’ve been waiting for Johnny Depp to come to Kumamoto (hoping to bump into him on Shimotori) but that hasn’t happened yet. He has, however, met Minamata Disease patient Shinobu Sakamoto in Tokyo – though it took him a while to do so.
