Here's a pretty amazing story about an izakaya in downtown Kumamoto, not too far from Tsuruya Department Store. In the short-term being flooded with hot onsen water as a result of the quakes is terrible for the establishment. If would be cool, though, if this could eventually work out well for both the owners and hot spring fans in the area. -- Kirk
