There’s a strong storm coming this way. The good news is that it looks like it will pass by the south-east side of Kyushu. That’s good because tropical storms in the northern hemisphere spin counter-clockwise and for that reason the winds that hit Kyushu first will be weakened by having to travel over land before arriving in here. Still, it’s a very intense storm system (currently Category 3 but predicted to return to Category 4 as it approaches Kyushu) so it shouldn’t be underestimated, particularly if you are in a vulnerable area.
