My favorite typhoon info service, the US military’s Joint Typhoon Warning Center, seems to have been privatized and is thus no longer available without subscription. Searching for options, I found another site which superimposes animation of expected routes on Google maps. It’s fun! Typhoon 10 is taking a very unusual course, meandering southwest off the east coast of Kyushu - typhoons in that are generally move northeast.
