Today, a “nude festival” (hadaka matsuri) was held in Reihoku-machi (Amakusa area). Today is officially “daikan” or “big cold” day. Fortunately for the revelers, it was relatively warm for this kind of year but even if I had been invited, I think I would have passed up this opportunity to swim in freezing water and then prance around the neighborhood with next to nothing on.
