As previously mentioned, their standard cat capacity of 32 was overwhelmed by a feline tsunami, bringing the number under their care to 86 (57 adults, 29 kittens) and threatening to end their renowned no-kill policy. Fortunately, due to publicity, adoptions have totaled 35 this month, providing the facility wherewithal to postpone euthanasia decisions to next year.
In particular, geriatric cats await adoption. These are the best type of cats as they’re relatively non-destructive, preferring instead to find your favorite sweater and sleep on it all day.
