In this post, I’m introducing a public lecture that will be conducted in Chinese with consecutive interpretation to Japanese. The topic is the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the speaker is an economist from Shenzhen University. As many of you are aware, Shenzhen is known as China’s silicon valley. It was China’s first special economic zone and has grown at an amazing rate. It has been in the news as a major site for the production of Apple products and as the home of Huawei.
