Hello friends. Heavy reader of Kumamoto ーi might know about William Eugene Smith and the movie about Minamata, now it’s on the way of making. Yes, the main actor is Johnny Depp. My friend Nakamura Kei joined to make the movie as an actor. Some of you might know him. Yes, he does English Rakuto and manages guest house in Nishihara-mura. I invited him my school, I work at, as guest speaker about Minamata. He loves Minamata.
Eugene’s photos tell lots important things and touch my heart. Further, his story is so inspired.
