Kirk here with another COVID-19 update. 1 –> 4 –> 24. Following the national trend, the number of people testing positive in Kumamoto has increased exponentially in the past three days I don’t understand the process well but apparently the authorities can determine quite quickly that people don’t have the Delta variant but testing for the Omicron variant takes an extra day or two. Today, RKK report that 6 of today’s 24 tested negative for Delta so more tests are required to determine whether or not they have Omicron.
