Kirk here with some information about a couple of volcanologist who lost their lives here in Kyushu on June 3, 1991 when Mount Unzen erupted. The movie isn’t available here yet but I would guess that it will arrive eventually. The director, Sara Dosa, is an American but the volcanologists (Katia and Maurice Krafft) were French so it will probably be necessary to understand French or Japanese subtitles if one wishes to watch it here in Japan when it comes.
