Kirk here with a follow-up to yesterday’s post about the time that Apple’s Tim Cook spent in Kumamoto. It seems that the CEO was not the only Apple executive who came to Kumamoto. Greg “Joz” Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, was also in town and stopped by the Prefectural University of Kumamoto to visit Dr. Ichiro Iimura and his students. Prof. Iimura is featured on Apple’s website:

Actually, I learned about Prof. Iimura through a newspaper article about an app his students built called IKOU. I’ll post about that separately – probably tomorrow.
