Kirk here with two sites that provide some perspective on the effects of the cyclone to our west. Both show a precipitation prediction for 6 PM today. The one with more red is Ventusky and the other is the JMAs radar map. The results are fairly similar – both showing that Kumamoto City is not likely to experience heavy rain this time around. Folks in Amakusa, however, need to be more careful.
