Atsuko here. William introduced this weekend’s events in Kawashirii, and while you’re there, there are temple festivals at many temples in Kawashiri, which you should visit.
The first recommendation is the coffin experience. It’s not easy to enter a coffin. When you put it in, it’s when you die, so it’s sure to look good on social media. I almost died twice, but I haven’t been in a coffin yet. I don’t think there is a Japanese person who can say how it feels to be in one.
