(Fiona) China Eastern started flights connecting Kumamoto Airport with Shanghai today. This should give long-distance travellers a few more flight options, and make Kumamoto a little easier to reach for overseas visitors. Initially there will be three flights a week, decreasing to twice weekly from August 20th.
