There have been quite a few events in the news recently related to wrongful convictions and the process to overturn them. In this case, as in many others, justice was delayed by a system that allowed prosecutors to appeal. The system has been amended recently but there's concern that loopholes in the new law will allow such foot dragging to continue. -- Kirk
