SOJO UNIVERSITY TEACHING AND LEARNING FORUM (LISTENING) Co-Sponsored by NanKyu JALT chapter

You are invited to attend the inaugural Sojo University Teaching and Learning Forum (SUTLF), co-sponsored by NanKyu JALT. This event will take place on Monday, February 2nd, 2015.

The conference will focus on the theory and practice of teaching listening. Presentations and workshop proposals on this theme are invited. Please see more details below.

Featured speakers: Gabriela Schmidt (Tsukuba University, Ibaraki) and William Pellowe (Kinki University, Fukuoka Campus) Early-bird Fee: 500 yen for JALT members and 1000 yen for non-JALT members (includes lunch) Date: Monday, February 2nd, 2015 Location: Sojo University International Learning Centre, Sojo University, Kumamoto Dinner: Get an opportunity to network with other attendees at an optional post-conference dinner. Kumamoto city tour (Sunday, February 1st): Come and see the wonderful sights of Kumamoto city, the site of the last Satsuma rebellion (featured in the Last Samurai). The optional tour will include a visit to Kumamoto Castle and other notable locations.
