This may seem silly to post, but I found this English update on the homepage for Kikuchi City, where I live, and it made me smile. There’s another English post containing info about the earthquakes. There aren’t actually that many foreigners here, but the fact that the city made an effort to reach out to us in English made me really happy. I wish more cities made efforts like this and also that Kikuchi continues to make improvements in this area.
