Hot, isn’t it? Kumamoto has a reputation for being hot, but this year is particularly so. The smooth red line in the graph shows the average high temperature for the past few decades and the squiggly line is the record for this year. As you can see, we are considerably above average this year. I’ll try to post later about records that have been set. The good news is that the next few days should be a bit cooler.
