A note from the Kumamoto Intrernational Temblor Desk (we’re always trembling): Today brings us to 3.5 years since the last quakes. Those occurred along the Futagawa fault. Kumanichi notes researchers have warned of a liklihood of a quake on the Hinagu fault and provided a map of possible intensities. The good news is that we’ll probably be dead before it happens; the bad news is that we might not but will be when it does, as seismic activity is projected to center on central Kumamoto. Stay prepared. - William
