This is Kumamoto city’s poster to ask you to STAY HOME. 籠城(ろうじょうRoujyo)じゃmeans ‘‘Let’s hunker down!!’’ In 戦国時代 せんごくじだいThe Sengoku Period (Period of Warring States), 大名だいみょう Daimyo (Japanese feudal lord) did STAY HOME, STAY castle to protect castle and ally from other Daimyo, enemy. They decided to stay castle to survive till the enemies become tired and give up. It’s said Kumamoto castle is good at protecting from enemy because of its shape and construction. Katou Kiyomasa is also known well so. It’s so cool and funny poster!! Yes, Let’s we do together!
