Hebie May Reyes, 27, a tomato farmer who has lived in Yatsushiro for four years, said she went to the church's distribution site to get rice, water, tissues and wipes.
It was a big help to us, she told UCA News.
Reyes regularly attends Mass on Sundays with other Filipino Catholics.
